As many of you know, I travel a lot for my work, but this year is getting off to a particularly exotic start. I leave at the end of this week for Tokyo, where I will attend the annual face-to-face meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF). Since our crowded agenda will leave little time for seeing more than the inside of the hotel, some colleagues and I are staying for three additional days to explore the city.
If any of you have suggestions about where to go, what to eat or other travel tips for enjoying Japan please let me know!
Since my role on the IAF Board is Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, I will be traveling to Jamaica at the end of February to participate in the first IAF conference to be held in that country! Titled The Art and Mastery of Facilitation: POWER – PASSION – PURPOSE, the event promises to be both inspiring and fun.
For those who cannot make the trip to Kingston, the program even includes a two-week virtual pre-conference workshop on The Virtual Facilitator.
Visit http://iafj2013.wordpress.com for further details.
NOTE: The deadline for Early Bird registration for this conference has been extended until January 18 – so act now to reserve your place.
I will post photos and updates of my travels on the IIFAC Facebook page.
Let´s stay in touch!
